I found this while looking through some photos on my phone. The last sketch I did on my personal project before I had a catastrophic hard drive failure and lost most of the project (including the finished painting of this). Despite that I've been thinking about it more and more of the last few months and think I want to go back to it. Back up your work kids!

I have a number of personal projects that have been backlogged indefinitely because I needed to thoroughly over-engineer all the dependencies. One such dependency is finally coming to fruition:

a to converter.

Sure you could write Dhall or CUE or something, but why not just write a commonly understood, type-safe language?

Ok it's dumb. But I like it.

I got another image done for my Little Red Riding Hood-inspired calendar.

This one used two reference images. One from a friend that was a bright sunny day, so I had to work hard to make it look like a rainy, drizzly day. And the other of a rainy creek with the atmosphere I wanted. Oy!!! I learned a LOT on this one!!
