Being at heart a kindly soul I have to wonder where this leaves the people who set up the "Conservative Democratic Organisation" - particularly #petercruddas - a donor whose peerage was opposed by #HOLAC but who was nonetheless appointed by #BorisJohnson. What do they do now?
