1️⃣ #MattMurdock defends #EddieBrock, calls #Spidey as a witness!

2️⃣ No great surprise to anyone that #PeterDavid would deliver an intelligent look at #Venom.

3️⃣ Who is really responsible for his crimes? Some superb scenes in this showing the #Daredevil-Spider-Man partnership/friendship in action.

4️⃣ Two satisfying twists at the end, also.

2️⃣ The main story is standard stuff. It has Frank going after some drug smugglers. The secondary story, about a dangerous and seemingly-unstoppable computer virus, is more interesting. And #PeterDavid’s script has several funny moments.

#Author #PeterDavid has the trick of using people he knows in real life when he needs a smaller character ("walk-on role").

Years back, while reading one of his #StarTrek books, he had a char w/the same name & description as a friend of mine ("Capt. Lee Tennant of the starship, USS Chance").

I mentioned it to my friend, who told me that it WAS him. He knew Peter David, and had been written into the book. My friend said David did that regularly.

@Cassiopeia12727 And while spin-off media isn’t canonical, I highly recommend the novel Imzadi by #PeterDavid. It fills in a lot of details about their back story that the show never addressed in detail (though some of it has probably been contradicted by official media that’s been produced since the book was published).
