really brought an ick factor to this character, and as usual his message targeted the working class to resent newcomers and foreign interests.

I'm a sucker for any Heads Up Display technology being shown on screen. "Robocop" certainly has its fair share of classic HUD usage.

Having an automatic targeting system, audio / visual recording and playback option, voice stress analyzer, and thermograph options would be pretty useful. Plus, bulletproof armour too.

Re-watching the Paul Verhoeven classic "Robocop", again.

On the surface, it's just a big dumb action flick. But watching it years later, there is quite a bit going on beneath the surface. It's a story of a man trying to remember the family he has lost, and reclaim his own soul.

Robocop has aged very well over the years.

Guillermo del Toro's "Cabinet of Curiosities" episode "The Viewing" directed by Panos Cosmatos has an amazing New Retro Wave / Synth Wave soundtrack.

Unlike what Lionel Lassiter states, the music was not composed in Venice by Massimo Contini.
