#PeterZeihan has some very interesting ideas on geopolitics and it is very disturbing to hear about the ongoing Russian efforts to destabilize the US on everything from the environmental movement to the abortion issue. However, I'm not sure it passes the smell test when he says to not send him links or information that proves him wrong because apparently he is never wrong and you haven been duped by Russian propaganda.

@Angle I listen to the *Fall of Civilizations* podcast, each episode of which normally starts with a discussion of geography, climate, etc. People underestimate the importance of those fundamental factors. #PeterZeihan gives us valuable insight into them.

OTOH, when I've read Mr. Zeihan regarding my own country, his understanding is superficial and he makes basic factual mistakes. So how much should I trust his analyses of places where he hasn't lived?
