@CatScratchFeverIsReal Many purebred breeds of dogs and cats are not only expensive to purchase, but expensive to own. Purebreds typically have more health problems and consequently, higher vet bills. Don't assume large breeds are violent. They aren't born mean. Something else to consider is insurance. Homeowner's or renter's insurance. Some companies won't cover your property if you have a dog. Check before your adopt or buy.
