This is Jack.

Jack was a rescue who'd been abused. He still had pellets in him, he was afraid of men, and he was terrified of cameras.

My mother in law worked patiently with Jack for several years until he was happy to see his family.

Lately, Jack has gone blind, lame, deaf, and then was losing his sense of smell due to what appeared to be a tumor in his nose.

This is Jack before we said goodbye.

He was a very good boy for fifteen years.
