Finally tried combining the #blackandwhite version of this image of #PeytoLake with the turquoise #colour of the lake itself. I can’t decide on which version of this image of #PeytoLake I like better - the #colour or the #blackandwhitephotography. The latter brings out the drama in the sky better, while the former shows the lovely colour of the lake itself. @Curator Photo taken with iPhone at #PeytoLake in #BanffNationalPark on a cold day when the water was starting g to freeze and the beautiful #DeepTurquoise colour was still showing. The mountains in the background are dusted with fresh snow, with a #reflection of snow, spruce trees and avalanche runs visible in part of the lake
