Watching Twin Peaks for the Genreless Podcast inspired me to watch a movie on my must-see list for decades, #PeytonPlace. It was excellent. Parts were dated as it's from 1957, and others were still incredibly poignant to current times. A must-see for any other soap opera fans out there.

#DianaHyland (1936–1977) would have been 87 today.
She was a (posthumous) Emmy winner for #TheBoyInThePlasticBubble (1976), the original mom on #EightIsEnough, and a familiar face on shows like #PeytonPlace and #TheTwilightZone for 20 years.

Read this for research. My enthusiasm for it waned quickly, but picked up a bit near the end. I think it remains relevant due to its social-historical context, and Grace Metalious is a fascinating figure to me, but I wanted to enjoy reading this more than I did.
