All I know right now is the 2ary was on 13.1 and tickled a kernel network bug, but the primary (13.0) and 2ary were both flagged as 100% ping loss on an internal interface, and around the time the primary spontaneously rebooted. Of course, 2ary rebooted around the same time. My suspicion is both links dropped and came up, and 2ary was the new 1/

I used my newest set of tokens in my #pathfinder game last night and my players loved the Hero Point tokens and Action Tokens. They are all new to Pathfinder 2nd Edition, and found them very helpful. Check them out and my other token styles in my etsy shop. #ttrpg #DnD #pf

But I just found the explanation and the solution.
My PF setup is correct.
As I installed #wireguard I must set gateway_enable="YES" and ipv6_gateway_enable="YES" in /etc/rc.conf.
This last setting set net.inet6.ip6.forwarding to 1 (sysctl). But this setting blocks automatic IPv6 gateway settings get by IPv6 SLAAC. Even with #pf disabled in /etc/rc.conf but with only ipv6_gateway_enable="YES", IPv6 is correctly set but no IPv6 gateway is set. I cannot ping6 or curl an IPv6 URL.
To bypass this, I must add ipv6_gateway_router="<IPv6-router-address>" in /etc/rc.conf.

I set static IPv4 and it’s gateway, and I tough that IPv6 with SLAAC set gateway automatically, like the IP address. Unfortunately no. I spent time to investigate and understand why I cannot communicate with others using IPV6. I searched in my #pf rules but it was not the right direction 😅
#adguard and #unbound are working like a charm.
#wireguard is set and configured but in IPV4 only. Now I will search if I can set it with IPV6 and how.
In parallel I will reinstall my #PaperMC server (#minecraft server).

Today, I'm doing some maintenance on a few servers, migrating a couple of #CentOS to #FreeBSD, and an old #Linux firewall with #iptables (done manually) to #OpenBSD with #pf.
Some users (myself included) have noticed that the FreeBSD Fortune bot tends to repost the same advice frequently. According to my statistical calculations, it should repost the same fortune every 4/5 days, but in reality, there seems to be very little randomization. The output is generated directly from the 'fortune(6)' command on FreeBSD, so for now, I'll let it be. In the end, it's one post per hour, so it shouldn't 'spam' too much.

I already managed a small server powered by #FreeBSD: I love to manually install and setup my apps to understand who they work. I learn a lot this way.
