I believe it'd be possible to make a D&D-like game I like better, but WotC won't be the one to make it.

#Eberron is my favorite D&D setting by far! But sometimes an original setting is a better fit for a D&Dish idea. And sometimes a fantasy idea isn't particularly D&Dish, but I don't have a system I favor for that yet.

@rweston @chgowiz @LeviKornelsen I'm pretty sure ampersands don't work in hashtags, but I do like #DnD35 #DnD35e #PF1 #PF1e ! Of all the editions, they come closest to my ideal D&D. Though it still seems possible to do better...

@luigirenna @deinol I’m a 1-2e guy and certain settings go better with certain systems. IMO #Darksun and #DragonKingsProject are optimal in 2e even though I know groups who’ve used #3x #PF1, #SW, or #SotDL to their own enjoyment.

Playing #Pathfinder #PF1 the other night, and my first six rolls included four natural ones (plus a 5 and an 8). On a d20. #DiceMaiden hates me!

so I am contemplating this idea for a "cryptocurrency ponzi scheme" in my #PF1 #intrigue game where the players are offered a chance to buy into a secret society that is advertised to have perks to insure against dying prematurely, but what they are really doing is financing the #BBEG's accumulation of gems to act as the containers for Soul Trap

any thoughts on ways to get players to bite before getting too suspicious?
