Info-Tröt: #pfc-freie Kühlmittel gibt es schon lange. PFAS u. PFC lagern sich in der Umwelt an und gelangen ins Trinkwasser und die Nahrung. Sie können Unfruchtbarkeit und div. Karzinome auslösen.

Ende 2022 kam dann still und leise die offizielle Bestätigung: die Produktion wurde eingestellt, Gore Wear selbst verarbeitet nur noch den vorhandenen Lagerbestand für ihre eigenen Jacken und die Drittanbieter bekommen nichts mehr.
Gore will zwar irgendwie weiter auf das Material setzen, aber so ohne Produktion klingt das seltsam 🧐 Parallel wird am Nachfolger geforscht.

I was just thinking this morning, the higher the caliber and potency (and even utility) of content , the less appealing (more rarefied) it will be , partly because (a) it requires higher IQ and higher effectance to appreciate. High IQ does not guarantee high effectance (eg George W. Bush; point made by Keith Stanovich), but it facilitates effectiveness.
