If you see people, espechally seniors, that seem fainting, disoriented, dizzy or frightened:
They may suffer a [light] #heatstroke, #hyperthermia or suffer from #dehydration.
If concious offer them a comfy seat in the shade and some cool [not ice-cold, but tap-cold] non-sparkling water.
A lot of seniors drink way too much and such simple remediations can help avoid the need to call an ambulance!
Thanks for sharing!

If I wasn't fully disabled, I'd apply. #PHA #NEO are stuff I'm interested in. Last time I calculated orbits was when I was still a teen, 4 decades ago. It's been nearly as long since I programmed in #FORTRAN.

Okay, remember Modulex, the literally #Lego but for project management 20th century product that vanished some years ago?
(Modulex: https://mastodon.murkworks.net/@moira/110060011477175062 )
Okay, now remember how I talk about #PHA #3dPrinting #filament occasionally, when I have time just to screw around with it, because it's so heat tolerant?
Well, good news. There's a set of new PHA colours out from the only North American supplier, and if you want to re-create some architectural Modulex, you have found your filament :D

#PLA / #PHA UM Blue 2.85mm 0.75kg - $22.75 https://tools.woot.com/offers/pla-pha-um-blue-2-85mm-75kg
A pretty blue color reel of 3/4 kilo of filament for your 3D printer. I don't know if it's a good price or not but there it is.
I got asked on Reddit about #PHA "creep" behaviour, a term which refers to the material's ability or lack thereof to rebound from being weighted enough to distort it.
It's an interesting question, so I'm printing a somewhat-known test object to test with some weight. Let's find out, shall we?

Completed! No clogs. :D
Overhangs did WAY better than expected. 80° worked, though it looks awful from anywhere but the top. 60° is mostly okay, everything below that is perfect. Lots of room here.
The faint fine-detail surface text _is_ present and legible, but being a translucent filament it's not super visible.
Bridging isn't great but the very idea that I'd be trying that with #PHA is kind of a shock. I've seen worse, and this wasn't even at best temperature.
This is viable! #3dPrinting
so far so good and while this is the easy part the important bit is that it hasn’t jammed or fouled or any other such nonsense. #3dPrinting #PHA
oh ho ho success! (second from left) - gcode generated for 0.4mm nozzle, printed with 0.5mm nozzle. 180C looks best to me. ^_^
Now to print the standard printer mini test at 200.60. #PHA #3dprinting
Well, this is looking promising - trying my 0.4mm tower with a 0.5mm nozzle to see if that gets around the jams and preserves good 0.4 bridging but still gives a good print.
If this works, next up is the mini printer test object. #PHA #3dPrinting
And by "stark" I mean the _worst_ temperature layer I have so far is dramatically better than the _best_ layer I had with 20% wood-infused.
#PHA was already interesting to me, now it's much _more_ interesting.

@smellsofbikes All it is really is a slightly-modified but very large toaster oven.
Here's a big #PLA / #PHA comparison writeup I did a couple of months ago:
tops look very nice - _very_ nice. 20% cubic and thick skins completely overcome the #pha bridging issues. Nice. #3dPrinting
@joncruz Which infill as in pattern? 20% cubic. I think it gives good strength and coverage. I'd've cut to 15% but I got worried about the top layers behaviour - see again #PHA not spanning well at all.
As for the supports, it's touching-buildplate-only, 63° overhead angle, 20% density zigzag. Otherwise just letting #Cura (v5.2.1) do its thing.
I've set three skin layers, which normally would be excessive for a 0.6mm nozzle but I'm hoping it'll help maintain a good top given the poor spanning.
Printing a little #totoro out of 20% wood-infused #PHA #3DPrinting filament partly to see how well it does with supports (since it spans very poorly) and also to see how it takes sanding and staining and all that.
(there, I've posted something not birdsite today)
