@abbe98 @Ladsgroup It's not really about development itself but I am hopeful that the migration to #Gitlab will help, by making the contribution workflow more welcoming. But if I understood correctly #Phabricator will stay and I hope the integration between the two will be good enough
It's time again to complain about #Phabricator turning your uploaded patches into diffs that can't be `git am`-ed.
Seriously, #LLVM, how can you still force people to use that?!
Russian Wikipedia is waiting for more than 2 weeks on #Phabricator to have its bots approved to have an exception from spam blocklist. If you have +2 rights on Wikimedia Gerrit, your feedback on the task/patch would be appreciated. https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T334344
Very sad to hear that #Phabricator is no longer an active project, it deserved to be as huge as #github. I loved it's sass and it's sarcy, anti-enterprise tone. This was my main contribution, 10 years ago. https://secure.phabricator.com/T1344

Makes sense.
#Phabricator's API is shit, but *surely* I'm missing something here... when doing a `maniphest.search`, I want to the `contraints` to be "is tagged with any of these projects":
```
{"projects": ["PHID-PROJ-jkdeo34rfp5mqrxnqx5g", "PHID-PROJ-f5uovrqmvgqxt2utyrtc"]}
```
*this* returns any tasks tagged with **both** those projects 🥴

Hi @blender, I am curious about the #phabricator #gitea migration. Can the new system already be used?
J'aimerais étudier le workflow du "post-commit auditing" (https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/reviews_vs_audit/) de #phabricator, propulsé par le composant #Herald https://phacility.com/phabricator/herald/

I suppose I need to curate https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/maniphest/query/u8k6X70S9euJ/#R into a list (which would at least let me add programming language hashtags etc..)
Doing it auto-magically would be nice, but #Phabricator's API can *go do one*
I love #Phabricator (#Phorge).
It's ugly as hell.
It's glue and tools without integration.
But it's lovely. And that's true love.

I have been working in and with #opensource for almost 25 years now. I started out in 98 at #redhat and stayed there til 2010 where I started working at #mozilla. I am still there working on Developer Workflow tools such as #bugzilla and #phabricator. I use #fedora #linux as my daily workstation and proficient in #perl and learning to be proficient in #python as well.On the side I collect old #8bit #retrocomputing machines such as #commodore64, #macintosh, and #ibmpc.

PSA: for @debian and @ubuntu users who miss the workflow of using #Phabricator and #arcanist, #sugarjar reimplements that with #GitHub integration. It's in Debian unstable and is coming to testing in a week: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/sugarjar
and you can use my #PPA for Ubuntu until it shows up in 23.04

@wakest nice question from 2018. Not answering, but @purism, the manufacturer of Librems, uses #Phabricator for their PureOS and other software: https://tracker.pureos.net. This could be a great example.
Looks like Phabricator (used by numerous organizations) won't be actively maintained anymore: https://admin.phacility.com/phame/post/view/11/phacility_is_winding_down_operations/ #linux #foss #phabricator
We have found #funding and https://fedeproxy.eu is starting 🚀
Our #foss project team is *very* motivated to do the right thing, and we need your input and help 🙏
We'll offer @activitypub federation between #code #forges to provide seamless interop between repo's wherever they are hosted.
