My new #introduction for my new cohort on sonomu.club! I'm Polly Springhorn, a #composer #performer #improviser #writer from Oakland, CA USA. The groups I play in are duo B Experimental Band, Usufruct, and Ghost in the House. My solo projects are #phainopepla and Dubious Candy. I've written and arranged music for flutes which can be gotten from ALRY Publications. I'm also #wiccan and an M.Div. student at Cherry Hill Seminary. Hail and well met!

I went back to Tucson for the comic con, but I was reminded of the beauty of the flora and fauna of the Sonoran desert while I was there. Phainopeplas are the punk rockers of the desert, there are no lizards to speak of in NYC, and I'd forgotten just how lovely the blooms of fish hooked barrel cacti are.
