Mit unserem #Ford #Kuga #PHEV war ich am Vormittag wieder in #Rheinhessen vollelektrisch unterwegs. Jetzt, im Sommer, kosten mich 100 vollelektrische Kilometer "auf dem Land" etwa 4,20 €, bei "Schnellfahren" (100 - 120 km/h) auf der Autobahn sind es dann schon mal 5 - 6 € für 100 km.

@DoKo ich bin mir nicht einmal sicher, ob es hier in Schweden überhaupt eine Wallbox Förderung gibt.
Im übrigen kostet eine simple Wallbox ohne Klimbim keine Unsummen mehr.
Ich hätte mir längst eine zugelegt, notfalls auch komplett auf eigene Kosten (obwohl ich nur Mieter bin) wenn ich schon ein rein elektrisches Auto hätte. Für meinen #PHEV reicht mir bislang meine Steckdose in der Garage.

@MichaelimOdenwald wenn du beim ADAC bist, gibt es (auch über EnBW) eine Karte mit recht günstigen Konditionen ohne Grundgebühr (vergleiche vielleicht mal). Plugsurfing gibt's auch ohne Grundgebühr (Einmalgebühr für NFC Karte). Schadet nicht für den Fall der Fälle die zur Hand zu haben.
Da ich meinen #PHEV normalerweise auch nur an der heimischen Steckdose lade, lohnt sich für mich nichts mit Grundgebühr. Unterwegs lade ich, wenn ich eh gerade Pause mache.

@MichaelimOdenwald ich habe leider bisher nur einen #PHEV (brauche einen #Kombi wegen großem Hund). Sollte aber auch mit reinem #BEV inzwischen völlig problemlos sein.
Mein Navi im Auto zeigt auch schon #Ladestationen an und ich denke inzwischen gibt es auch in Schweden reichlich, sofern man wenigstens irgendwas um die 350km reale Reichweite hat.
Man sieht hier inzwischen auch regelmäßig #Elektroautos.

I want to share my experience with an SUV Plug-In Hybrid (#PHEV) I now own.
IMO *Is only worth it if:*
- you have a good place to plug it in at home & preferably a garage. Otherwise you might worry about cable stealing, vandalism, bad weather.
- your usecase is the city and under 30 miles a day or less.
- you are wiling to develop a new habit of plug it almost daily.
Whats the point of an PHEV if you cannot benefit the most of the "ev" part? So, if you're gonna get one, value highest ev range.

This week BYD launched the new brand FCB. The first and second models are big SUVs with offroad capability. They also launched their new PHEV drive train which is supposed to use 35% less fuel than a comparable ICE and have an all electric range over 100 km.

Is this a steep forward? To the side, or backward? What do you think?

@ACTupper as the owner so far of 3 #phev cars, I'm a huge fan of the range extender concept. I've driven a Chevy Volt since 2015 and love the overall freedom that I have to get anywhere and back but also to most of the time not use gas.

Bin gerade in Kiel mit meinem #PHEV diverse Ladestationen abgefahren bis ich endlich was freies gefunden. Sogar zwei freie Plätze. Schließe meinen an, direkt nach mir kommt einer mit ner Zoe, parkt und geht weg. *Ohne* anzuschließen! Direkt danach kommt noch ein #BEV und guckt in die Röhre. Soll *ich* jetzt wegfahren? Seh ich auch wiederum nicht ein. 😒

One of the best business books I ever read was The Innovator’s Dilemma by Clayton Christensen. It explains why I can’t purchase a plug-in vehicle from a mainstream car manufacturer. Plug-ins are more expensive to build and they potentially cannibalize profits from same ICE brands which car companies know how to build profitably. To make matters worse the climate price signal is severely broken with respect to fossil fuels so the payback to the consumer isn’t there either.

Nachgerechnet: Unsere letzte #Strom-Abrechnung von EWR in #Rheinhessen. Weder haben sich Steuern und Abgaben geändert, noch gab es eine Preisänderung von EWR. Daher zahle ich dieses Jahr einen Arbeitspreis von 19,03 ct / kWh (Brutto).

Ich wäre bekloppt, wenn ich meinen #PHEV auch nur einen Kilometer unnötig mit Benzin fahren würde. Nur schade, dass wir (noch) keinen #BEV haben und auf Strecken über 60 km (im Sommer) das stinkende #Benzin verbrennen müssen.

One of the things I love about our #PHEV is that once the wall charge is gone, it's still a hybrid setup that gets all the benefits like regenerative braking and stop light engine shutoff.

Yes! Most people don't need big EV range!!!

We've gone the #PHEV route and I'm absolutely delighted with it. We don't buy gas most of the time, and then when we need to go to, say, Pennsylvania, we get hybrid gas efficiency. Huge, huge reduction in emissions with a battery that's a tiny fraction the size of a Tesla's.

(And then of course we try to take the even better option, walking and taking the bus, but that's a separate argument.)

@Hypx @ukuku I do support that, such as the #BMW330e, but, they don’t have as many advantages, such as lower maintenance costs. The ICE part of a #PHEV has almost the same maintenance requirements as a fully fossil fuel vehicle.

I'm still just annoyed that the Chevrolet #Volt isn't being made anymore. Perfect battery size for daily driving. Hybrid for long range. Other #PHEV are being made but they're nearly all crossovers or bigger.
