I had almost given up on getting the Pi Pico W to work as a captive portal. Today I found one of the Phew files was missing and another did not have the access point routine. Now I'm content. I can use this to control motors etc

After upgrading to #Debian 12 (bookworm) I had to install and enable gnome-shell-extension-manager to get my extensions back. For some reason they got lost in the upgrade.

I had real trouble keeping track of what's going on. It turns out the window list, which show window titles, is part of how I maintain situational awareness at my computer.

I don't want a notification every time someone talks in chat. I do want to see a star in the window title. Unobtrusive.
