One thing I really like about #PhilCon is that there is a still a really strong literary core to this #ScienceFiction convention.

I know that a lot of people think that this is old & fusty--but there are plenty of other SF cons that are more tv/film/comics oriented.

I still paid for my ticket, because I think #PhilCon is incredibly important, & I want it to continue.

I registered for this year's #PhilCon but, for family health reasons (older, immuno-compromised near relation), I am mostly not attending.

@SergKoren We all just got old. But #Philcon remains a great #SF convention because of its literary nature. Reminds me of the old #Lunacon days.

Most of the attendees of #Philcon are older folk, with very few younger/kid level. It’s probably due to Philcon being heavy on books/authors, etc. Not the “Comicon” type of thing. Back in my day (1970s) it was all kids and college-grade. Times and interests shift. #sf

I’m up, and hotel breakfast consumed. Working on my cup of coffee. Still at #philcon. Hitting my #writing goal today still takes priority over anything else I may want to do. It’s a nice toasty 31ºF outside .~
