I would say George RR Martin, but I lost respect for him after he threw the Game of Thrones showrunners under the bus.
I read chapters from book 6 he posted on his website and listened to him read more in his talks. Whenever the show did something he posted and wasn't received well from the fans, he deleted the chapter from his webpage and threw them under the bus.
Other fans and I would be like "We're not crazy. You literally wrote that in your chapter. We read it. Why are you denying it now?" 🤷🤦

As a teacher in 🇦🇺🇬🇧 in the early 2000s, I support the idea of Harry Potter increasing literacy. I just can't support J.K. Rowling anymore.
