A new revival of #TheWiz is hitting the road this Fall, premiering in #Baltimore in September and strolling the Yellow Brick Road all the way to #Broadway next Spring. Major casting for three iconic characters has been announced. #TheVoice contestant #AveryWilson will be the Scarecrow, #Sharper's #PhillipJohnsonRichardson is the Tinman, and #AStrangeLoop's #KyleRamarFreeman. Casting for Dorothy and the Wicked Witch are TBA. The show will feature new material by #AmberRuffin.
