When you do not understand or see the source of violence, you tend to over-sanction its application.

This can have undesired side effects, for example like victims not defending themselves and people watching but not interfering into a public act of violence towards a victim.

HINT: These are my personal thoughts. Good criticism welcome. Partially derived from psychoanalysis regarding its value critique interpretation.

Irish revolutionary was born on Great Brunswick Street (now named Pearse Street) in 1879.

Pearse "kept a school" (in the words of Yeats) and wrote not only on revolution, but on the , most notably his book "The Murder Machine" irishphilosophy.com/2015/11/10
