What, if anything, is the justification for differential diagnostic criteria? What was the original justification and does it have any good justification today? I am thinking particularly about how the DSM says to diagnose only autism if someone also meets the diagnostic criteria for schizoid or schizotypal personalty disorder. #psychiatry #philosophyofpsychiatry #HPS

The two basic ideas are: 1. trust is so fundamental that it determines our formation of beliefs. #Emotions 2. trust is based on the fact that we perceive goals in other beings and relate them to our own. The conception is discussed for the understanding of effectiveness in #psychotherapy. #philosophyofpsychiatry
