Die #Grunewald-Seen-Kette in #Berlin hat bei hohen Sommertemperaturen die beste #Wasserqualitaet. #Schlachtensee, #Nikolasee, #KrummeLanke & #Grunewaldsee verlaufen in einer eiszeitlichen Rinne. Die #BerlinerWasserBetriebe füllen seit 1913 die Kette künstlich mit Wasser vom #Wansee, damit sie nicht austrocknen. Seit 1981 wird dem #Wasser #Phosphor gegen Überdüngung entzogen. Diese 4 #Falken hinterlassen leider (oder zum Glück?) relativ viel #Kot und das Pendant zum menschlichen #Urin (ohne Wasser), also diese weiße Masse.
Könnte man aus diesem Kot #Guano, also einen wertvollen #Phosphor -Dünger machen? Unser Boden ist auch sehr kalkreich. Chemisch müsste es möglich sein.

Some phosphor dust coated tube in tubes. I was going to be filling them all today- but I forgot how unannealed borosilicate glass has a tendency to just crack in it's own when left for prolonged periods. I got the heat in part- but it's the heat out that I am forgetting.
Time to patch up holes and wait for the kiln and technician stars to align once more.
Excited to see how these coatings look.

Bent a lil #doodle to test out some of those custom #color s. The phosphors make a BIG impact on the color- has me wishing we used more color to begin with when we pulled the tubes to have a denser filler.
I had to focus on survival with this one- The hand pulled glasses can be very crackative and adding phosphor with this method does not help. I love the brightness the phosphors bring! The textures from my inexperience are neat too

Picked up where I left off last year and with bending this #zooted #doodle. I was happy not to mess up and break it- first one I have made like that, all zooted (except the Ruby red)! Definitely nice to have one #survive - all the weld-bends must be perfect!

Here is a roller I modeled and printed to wipe the lines in these zooty tubes. Of course I already have some design revisions in mind for the next iteration. Lower adjusters and a motor to spin the tube.
The home studio setup is nice and cozy for wiping the tubes- good for focusing in on the lines.
Excited to hopefully bend these up tomorrow- the line quality is neat with the zooted tubes.
