I have always struggled to edit colour photos (Lightroom), I normally do black and white work. But sometimes colour shots are needed. I want them to look natural but also fairly punchy. I just HATE greens.

For my SCPs, I *really* love making the images for them. Here's some of the images I made for a few of them.

First is the very dangerous pasta noodle for 4378.
Second is the EYES from 4205
Third is sluice gate from 4485
Fourth is the buddha elevator from 4801

The first, third, and forth one all use public domain photos that I heavily edited. 4205 is fully my doing, though :]

#PhotoEditing I’ve tried several not terribly good photo-stitching apps on my Macs since that last really good one stopped working when support for 32-bit apps was dropped in macOS 10.15 Catalina (aka Crapalina).

Today I learned that Affinity 2 which I bought last year when it was 40% off normal price has an excellent panorama-stitching feature built in. I have tried it, comparing the results to earlier panoramic shots made with other apps.

There’s usually a stark difference: Affinity manages to merge and average out light and shade differences between the original-stitched photos in a far more consistent manner, such that you can’t see where the pics have been joined. Most impressive.

For some reason iOS Photos doesn’t yet have the retouch tool that the Mac has. Anyone know of a simple editor app that has it? Hoping for something that works as an editing extension to the Photos app. Will pay, but not a subscription. #PhotoEditing #PhotoRetouching #PhotoApps #iOS #PhotoTools
