Oh dear. It looks as if The Guardian is either using Photoshop or having an A.I. meltdown. Look at this pic from the top of the article. Kudos to the guy for standing up after an air shark bit him so he could be thinner 😆

Maybe not a smart move when the article is actually focused on being a collection of photos from a recent event.

There are days when I wish there was an easy way to get into the back garden from the house without making a noise, or indeed being seen by the wildlife. 'er indoors and I just had to watch through the kitchen window as a Green Woodpecker visited. Can't even get a decent picture through the kitchen window, and it would have flown straight off if I'd tried to go outside to snap a photo closer up.

I was out biking today, and a few guys were doing this large drop.

I grabbed my rarely used backup backup camera, and it was configured all wrong. Fuck knows what I was doing with it last! And I think buttons got bumped while it was rattling around on the floor of the car.

Anyway, I shot this guy doing cool things at ISO 25,000 on an old Olympus E-M1, and...

It's a confetti festival, if I'm being honest. This is the best I could do.

I think my worst #photofail moment was trying to figure out why my camera, set to manual, was varying exposure between shots. Perfect, too dark, too bright.

Check the lights, all good, take a shot, all good. OK, the model's off and moving and ... too dark! Too bright! What the hell!?

Checked everything, checked it again, looks good, wait it's all wrong!

I'd somehow enabled bracketing, a feature I never use. Didn't even know how to en/disable it.

There is so much wrong with this photo - over-exposed, not sharp, high ISO, shooting almost in to direct sunlight, fog - and yet I love it.
The rainbow comes from water vapour condensing out of the air in the low pressure area over the wing.
