I'm trying to order a physical book of my photography portfolio, & everything is either super expensive or doesn't lay right. I just want a decent-looking sample book that I can afford. #PhotographerProblems

I have a hard time with the why of photography. It feels a lot of times like the truly valuable photos over the long term are the ones that make people angry and have limited value in the short term. And pretty photos have short-term value but say very little. It's a weird channel to have to navigate. #photography #PhotographerProblems

When I took this photo, I was walking across the legislature grounds to get to the Royal BC Museum. You know museums - lots of great stuff to get photos of.

Anyway, my camera's battery died about a minute after taking this photo.

So I go back on the horse (so to speak) after nearly three years and did a shoot with a model last night. Was great fun, she was awesome company, really cool about having her own input into the creative process and I'm really happy with the results. Problem is that I am a) supposed to be working and b) sitting in a Pret à Manger in South Kensington and expect I would be asked to leave if I started editing in here... #photographerproblems #artishard #artistproblems
