Overconsumed by our existence,
everyday survival and struggles
we forget to be thankful for the life we have been given, and all the small, and big, things that make it worth living.

Life wasn't meant to be easy. Life is too often unfair and painful.
I found it best not to ask Why? But to count my blessings and be grateful for what I have.

We tend to look for someone or something to blame when things are bad. It's hard to accept that sometimes there is no big meaning or purpose to things happening.
In the end, it's hard to satisfy the mind when needs of the heart are so different.

It looks like one of my photographs was picked for the APA Chicago 10th Annual Artist’s Perspective Exhibition curated by Natasha Egan, Executive Director at the Museum of Contemporary Photography. Unfortunately the notification for this ended up in my promotional spam folder that I rarely look at so I missed the print deadline. Such a bummer.
