The National Press Club's annual photo exhibit is now live, and runs through Sept. 29. The show has 211 print photos and digital images from 55 participants, with a section devoted to Maks Levin, Ukrainian photojournalist captured and executed by Russian forces last year.

The Feast of St. Alphonsus Liguori is August 1st, and members of the St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Catholic Forane Church in the west Edmonton Parkview neighbourhood celebrated on July 30th. The celebrations included a walk around the Parkview school and playground. The drumming could be heard for blocks and there were at least 1,000 participants.
