Saved you a click: Use external drives and print photos instead of using cloud storage.
Also the irony of them having a sponsor is not lost on me.

It's a camera obscura. It's a building that uses the properties of a camera, and it's rather neat.

Article: Couples Are Hiring TikTok Creators to Avoid Waiting Weeks for Professional Wedding Photos
There's a lot of stuff I hate about TikTok, but I also dislike gatekeepers who draw an imaginary line between "professionals" and "people who get paid to do a thing."
I'm thrilled the TikTok users are finding ways to make money using their skills. Goodness knows their platform doesn't pay much.
Article: Video Game Photography in the 2020s: We've come a long way since the PS2
I remember in the early days of Flickr the policy was to /only/ allow photos, which made a lot of video game players (mostly Second Life, IIRC) very upset, because they felt their screencaps were as valid, compositionally, as something created with a camera.
This was back when game graphics could only hope to render scenes this realistic.
Article: Midjourney Founder Admits to Using a ‘Hundred Million’ Images Without Consent
Copyright is a method for enforcing consent.
Stop using #AI art generators. Their programmers seem to universally not understand what consent means.

https://photofocus.com/opinion/abandoned-cars-why-its-great-to-photograph-in-bad-weather/
There isn't much in the way of practical tips in this article, but night photography of rusting vehicles is a darned cool aesthetic, as evidenced by the author's included images.

Article: Photographer Sues Gannett for $34 Million For Copyright Infringement
Gannett shared a screenshot in a significant number of news agencies, crediting the photographer but not asking for permission or providing compensation.
Yeah, copyright is long overdue for an overhaul that strips back a lot of its power, but this is a case that shows why we still need it in at least some capacity.

Flickr Commons has existed for years - since before the Yahoo! purchase, in fact - but it looks like there's been some restructuring and funding that's taken place.

Article: After Company Tries to Copyright His Photo, Photographer Wins Almost $1.2M
Before you reply with a statement about how evil copyright is, understand that copyright law is how this independent photographer was able to win this case. Otherwise the business would have been able to just keep using his art without fear of repercussions.
#Copyright Law is not black and white good or bad. It's a tool.
