I remember in the early days of Flickr the policy was to /only/ allow photos, which made a lot of video game players (mostly Second Life, IIRC) very upset, because they felt their screencaps were as valid, compositionally, as something created with a camera.

This was back when game graphics could only hope to render scenes this realistic.
