If you get that, the management becomes organic.

the worst part of any #community #chat system is that unlike classical #forum|s, you can't search shit.

It's not like #ReadTheDocs or a #phpBB or even the toxic cesspool that is #StackOverflow / #ServerFault that it's searchable.

Creating a gazillion of redundant questions where one can't even link to answers...

Looking forward to someone making an #ActivityPub interface that looks just like like an old school #phpBB forum, with each "category" being a time line, and each "thread" being a post

Gibt da mit #Flarum eine ähnlich gute Software für Foren oder ganz klassisch und schon älter #phpbb funktioniert auch. 😉

Mein letztes aktives #phpBB läuft nun seit 22 Jahren, davon seit 21 Jahren völlig stabil. Aber ein Fediverse Integration ist einen Test wert.

@gse was ist seither aus dem Projekt geworden?

Flarum als Software kenne ich nur noch bedingt, da ich zum einen mit #phpBB.de aufgewachsen war sowie eine Zeitlang dort auch Mal als Moderator tätig war.

Zum anderen bin ich kaum noch in Foren unterwegs und das ganz bewusst, denn so ein Forum kann für mich das sein was für andere das endlose scrollen in einer Timeline darstellt...🙄😅
