Was thinking today, during a walk while listening to #phpugly, about a potential project that could be fun to build.

It'd be a two-part application:

1. A hosted PHP API (self-hosted or paid, I don't care) for publishing/federating content

2. A local SPA in JS for providing a front-end.

SPA works like a blogging GUI. Draft, edit, etc. Content stored locally and (optionally) synced to the API.

Publication is static files. Through API to a cache + RSS.
