Here is the end of a piece of 1907 British advertising for a #signwriting book that contains the following line:

"Therefore did Jakke in his despair Take his Life by means of a Tinned Tongue."

Wir stellten uns heute die Frage, warum man eigentlich überhaupt einen SACK voller Flöhe hüten sollte.Scheinbar war es zunächst eine Wanne voller Flöhe und dann kam irgendwann der Sack drumrum. Es scheint aber wirklich keinen besonders guten Grund für Wanne oder Sack zu geben.

Und: In Rumänien ist es scheinbar schwieriger ein Busch voller Hasen.
