Got a call today from a wannabe #Phreaker who tried to get me to give him information about our on-site PBX. Ended up on the line with him for 15 minutes as he repeatedly tried to get me to give him info, and practically all I said was #SoWhatRoomAreYouIn?

"I just want to know what phone system you use."

"I just want to know what room you are in."

"I love you, will you tell me you love me?" (No, not kidding)

"I.... Just want to know what room you are in."

Okay. Come @netkitty I'm done for the night. Right now is an exciting time for telephony. People hear #phreaker and they think dudes in their garages with Strowger switches, but a lot of the REALLY innovative things are happening in the micro-telco scene. Phreaknet is just amazeballs. The guy who designed/runs it just superhuman. And you have people like Phil McCarter, Sarah, Dylan Cruz and the regular band if geniuses doing things no phone should legally be able to do and it's all very exciting

@mam Sarah is highly respected in the #phreaker community. That video is...bonkers. She is probably the smartest person I've ever met. She's just like "So I learned a little C, and wrote this program. It's not very good. It just interfaces a 100 YEAR OLD PANEL SWITCH WITH LINUX. No bigs". It's like, damned. I've been doing C most of my life and I'm doing good porting software to old retro platforms. She is honestly not of this world, but she never makes you feel stupid.
