@stevenshayman It is so frustrating that this is still true. If you’re already unwell enough to be seeking out a doctor, you often don’t have the energy to be your own advocate. But med school seems designed to weed out people who might bring different POVs and experiences that could change this. I often have better interactions with #NursePractitioner and #PhysiciansAsssistant types than actual #doctors.
