#ITeachPhysics and I was just looking over my students' notes from the DC circuits chapter. When encountering the RC time constant, which is normally written with a lowercase tau, this student referred to it as "T (Fancy)". Pretty reasonable way to describe the symbol if you don't recognize it. :)

Ok I've decided that my goal career is to be 50/50 astro researcher and science education researcher. I thought this would be a hard line to walk but now that I'm looking for it specifically I'm actually finding quite a few jobs that fit what I'd like.
Anybody have any advice on how to find jobs in this area? Bonus points if there's tips to find jobs in #LGBT-safe areas.
