#StarTrek is so great. I didn't grow up with it, I was too cool for it. Didn't watch any of it until I was in my 30's when, out of pure boredom, I started streaming #TNG. The thing about trek is there is so much of it, of varying qualities, that you get dreck like the Planet of the Black People episode, and simultaneously masterpieces like Inner Light.

I wish Jean Luc #Picard was a real person in charge of actual space military.

Struggling through season 3 of #Picard on the advice of someone who said to skip season 2. They said season 2 was a return to form, which begs the question of how bad season 2 actually was, because season 3 is... Not Good imo. They appear to have Kirk-ized Picard & Riker so they're both full of piss, vinegar, too much testosterone & too few brain cells. 🤨
Reminded once again that as a #TNG fan, #LowerDecks is closer to "my #StarTrek" than the new TNG-based stuff is.

I know there are Easter eggs from TOS, TNG, DS9 and VOY in #StarTrek: #Picard, cause these are the ST shows that I have watched. I never watched any of the newer shows and only the firsts one and a half seasons of enterprise.

What Easter Eggs and references did I miss?

Now I'm (re)watching everything with my daughter, who is a HUUUGE ST fan. Can we skip from voyager to Picard right away or do we have to watch the newer shows before?

We'll watch them all but aren't sure about the order.

I know I'm very late but sitting down to binge watch #Picard from season 2. No spoilers now 😉

I really liked the second season of #picard and all the background story it provided and so on, but particularly the rushing through in the last episode made it feel like on large filler arc. Anyway, just started season 3 and I love the intro song, good old times <3
