Ich versuche mich auf meinem #LinuxMint System noch an #Digikam. Dabei ist es bisher mangels ausreichend Zeit auch geblieben.

Habe die #Bilderverwaltung vorher mit Googles #Picasa (auf meinem letzten #Windows PC) gemacht.

Fand die SW mega.

Leider wurde sie eingestellt.

Je peux suivre sur ma machine PRIVÉE (et donc pas gérée par Microsoft ni Google) sans donner trop d'informations ni laisser de trace.

Je rappelle que Google a supprimé le bouton d'abonnement RSS (mais pas les flux) dans Youtube en… 2014.

Tout comme ils ont volontairement TUÉ #picasa en… 2016.

@atomicpoet @fediversenews #Google has an awful history when it comes to building social networks.

Most of the ones they “owned” were bought:

- #Blogger
- #Youtube
- #Picasa (renamed/merged into Google Photos)
- #Orkut (started independently by a Google)

With the exception of Youtube & maybe Blogger, Google does not have a great track record with social (Google Plus is a great example).

Weiß jemand wie man bei #Google seine Fotos vom #Android Telefon, das #autobackup komfortabel runterladen (komplett) kann und am #PC anschauen, sortieren und ggfls auch löschen, um #Backup Space frei zu bekommen, ohne kostenpflichtig mehr Speicher zu abonnieren?

Früher mit #Picasa ging das ja, aber das wurde vor langer Zeit eingestellt.....

Tentative complètement ratée d'installer #Digikam sur mon Mac. Il semble qu'il manque une librairie. Même après des acrobaties de type "sudo" que je déteste, ça ne s'ouvre pas. Bon, je reste sur #Picasa (desktop).

I have a major photo collection on local disks only.

But to share good photos, need a online solution.

Used googlephotos so far.

#Picasa was best. I moved to #Flickr. Then moved #googlephotos

Now, I have to move to somewhere or create a google account just to keep photos.

I'm looking for an #ImageViewer (Android, Linux, Windows) that allows me to see the #ViewDirection of a #geotag|ged photo on a map.
I've read that #Picasa used to offer this, but I'd prefer a maintained and ideally #OpenSource software.
Any ideas?
