I've a question for and anyone else who might know: what is the term for the process that causes rocks to come up into newly tilled soil, say, in a field? Every year, even though each spring all the existing rocks are removed? It reminds me of capillary action, but I think that pertains to liquids, not solids. A 2nd question is, are the rocks pulled? pushed? or drawn upward by the condition of less pressure? And if it's that, why does rock move to less pressure?
