Rhynie Man, an amazing cartoon-like Pictish carving on a 1.78m high stone dating back 1200-1500 years. It was found near Rhynie in Aberdeenshire in 1978 and is now in the headquarters of Aberdeenshire Council on the edge of Aberdeen. The Glamis Manse symbol stone, a remarkably impressive example of a Pictish cross slab measuring 2.8m (or over nine feet) high. it is very unusual in that it seems to have been carved in two stages, possibly at widely different times. The enigmatic Eagle Stone, or Clach an Tiompain, at the eastern end of Strathpeffer. It is a Pictish symbol stone dating back 1,500 years or more that was the subject of a prophesy by the Brahan Seer, Scotland's answer to Nostradamus. The Old Church at Nigg in Easter Ross and the magnificent Nigg cross slab that is on display within it. Measuring 2.1m in height by 1.05m wide, this is one of the very finest of the Pictish carved stones to have been found in Scotland. The 1.5m high Hunters Hill Stone, a Pictish symbol stone in woods to the east of Glamis in Angus. It probably still stands where it was first erected and is carved with a cross on one side and a snake and two symbols on the other.
