I was trying to work out why I prefer monochrome to colour photographs. Maybe it's because most of the movies and TV I saw as a kid were in black & white?
Or is it that B&W photographs give out an eerie atmospheric quality that colour photographs are unable to capture?
What really puts me off colour photographs is the over saturation of colours - post editing gone mad/bad. Reminds me of those brightly coloured holiday brochures - unreal.
