So... Coming from Pikmin 3 Deluxe to Pikmin 4 our expectations for the multiplayer were entirely wrong.

In 3 (Deluxe) you could play the whole campaign as separate characters and then some.

In 4 the co-op is like in Mario Galaxy. The second player is a crosshair that can shoot pebbles (and other stuff) at enemies.

I guess shame on us for not looking into this more in advance. We hadn't realized Deluxe was more of an anomaly in this regard.

Not that much fun by itself.

However, Mission mode is quite interesting and challenging.
I played the mode 5 hours straight, but there’s still much more to do.

I can hear Pikmin’s voice from outside. I’d better have some sleep.
