Just walked out the front door to see dinosaur flying away. Took a moment to catch flash of red and ID the Pileated woodpecker.

I am going from the sublime to the ridiculous - from the tiny, delicate #hummingbird yesterday to the big and ... not pretty - #pileated #woodpecker posting today.
This #bird makes a dreadful racket when it's drumming into the trees, vigorously creating huge holes.
#Monday is a day for attacking the week like this bird, with enthusiasm, and maybe #coffee .
