First I started with Pimax Store AKA pimax client? Which has Pitool built in. Room calibration was unsuccessful as my controls were floating across the room and my headset was stuck in the ground.

Has anyone tried using one of the higher resolution #VR headsets as monitor replacements for work?

I've seen a few people try to use the quest pro for this and while the lenses seem great the resolution seems awful for reading text and multiple windows.

Thinks like the #pimax 8k and #varjo higher res ones look far more applicable but I don't fancy punting to try it given the prices 😂

I'm really glad we are starting to see a few more standalone #vr and #ar headsets trickle out, especially the #pimax portal.

This being said I would love to see someone bring out a standalone #pcvr headset that runs x86 games. I know it would natively be just as bad looking as the current arm headset games are, but at least I could get access to my games from #steam etc without needing to buy them again in a different store.

Really hope the #valve deckard is real and does all this.
