This is why I'm loving the PineTime:
benjamin@archimedes ~]$ itctl get steps
7522 Steps
Okay there are other great things too; but itctl is definitely somewhere at the top of the list.
Ready to rock.
Alright, final status update for the night: I got itd (InfiniTime Daemon) running on Linux, and now I've got media controls and notifications working. Not sure I like getting my desktop notifications on my watch as well, but I like being able to send notifications to my watch from my bash scripts.
I'll have to see if I can disable notification forwarding tomorrow, as well as use the resouce update tool to add the Casio-clone face. :)
Goodnight all! Poem coming soon.

When OS updates transfer at a speed of 1kbps but it doesn't matter because the whole OS is only 400kb. 😎

@dirknewcastle I will absolutely be posting more. I generally use a hashtag for multiple toots about the same physical product (for example #FrameworkFirstImpressions for my laptop) and I'll be using #PineTimeFirstImpressions for this one.
This used to be so people could filter it easily, but as of today we've got the nifty new "Follow Hashtag" feature. ;)

That's not a #Casio! 😮
Did I buy the wrong watch by mistake? 🤔
