November 23, or 11.23, is often called Fibonacci Day because it has the first four terms of the Fibonacci Sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34 .... How about #PingalaDay? No disrespect to Fibonacci, but the Indian mathematician and poet #Pingala wrote about the numbers some 1300 years earlier. He also wrote about Pascal's Triangle (1800 years pre-Pascal) and was the first to use binary numbers!
