Mitsuru Meike’s The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai (2003) is the strangest movie I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen some pretty strange films.

It's a pink film (pinku eiga), the Japanese term for a softcore erotic movie.

It's also a crazy spy film and an exercise in inspired lunacy. It opens with the heroine being shot in the head, giving her paranormal powers.
