I’ve been for critical engagement with #homophobic #transphobic and #biphobic people and groups in the past in order to change them. I have seen good changes. There are also groups and people I don’t choose to waste my time or take the risk of engaging with. There are groups I don’t want to #pinkwash as the group is harmful at core.

#CSD/Pride nowadays can mean anything - even explicit support for the Ukrainian Azov Battalion Nazis as seen on this pic. #Pride has more or less completely assimilated into the liberal-capitalist agenda (#LGBT rights = 'equality of opportunity' within the capitalist system, integration into core capitalist institutions, etc.) and is readily weaponized to #pinkwash/justify imperialist atrocities. Political contradictions among LGBT+ ppl are (potentially) as widespread as in the rest of 'society'
