Owning a #home has basically always been as essential to the #Americandream. But increasingly, #owning a home is starting to feel completely out of reach for the average American, especially younger people. So what happened? Are we all just bad with money, or did something in the #housingmarket shift to make #homeownership so unattainable?

One of the best things the U.S. could probably do at this point is tell every elected official that they can't be re-elected, give the SCOTUS notice, and just reboot the whole government by electing/appointing all new officials over the next decade. Then, change elections to limit duration, money spent, and the general terrorizing of the populace by way of the mainstream media, and instead redirect the billions at citizens in need. #pipeDream

The fanciest printing I can get out of PipeDream 2 or First Choice is early laserjet (pcl).

My CUPS-lpr server doesn't have gpcl on it so no luck there.

Also, when told to print to a file, they both filter out all the escape codes! resulting in a flat text file. d00d i can do that with fold(1) and pr(1)!

Tandy 1000 has wattcp's lpr. Book 8088 has sneakernet!

Regarding the Mastodon to Twitter cross-posting method, I switched from #IFTTT to #pipedream
Pipedream is free and works well. I had to write the code to convert the HTML to text, but #ChatGPT wrote it for me, so it's practically no code.

I am getting an error when I try to connect my Twitter API Key and Secret to #pipedream 😞

What must delight the Tories, whose supreme mission above all else is to maintain power (the better to control and accumulate wealth) is how easy it still is to fool people. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but Pipedream 2 for dos is much more "generic menu driven DOS app" than I was expecting...

Which is good because it's not like I have the manual... And bad because boring....

I do like Pipedream 4 on RISC OS so I'm gonna play with it more.

Also a good thing, afaik it works with the #Tandy1000 keyboard.
