A short but fascinating read on a medieval "sketchbook" from the early 13th century. While it is uncertain what the original purpose was, this person clearly had some skill.

Interesting to read about other methods of writing/drawing prior to applying ink. Fun for the PIPP crowd. I definitely want to try some of this, if merely in scribbles since I cannot draw.
