#RPGaDAY2023 Day 16: Game I wish I owned. #Traveller, maybe? I think I had one try out of it back in the mid 80. I got as far as multiple deaths while trying to generate a character before deciding that D&D was a better place to be. I suspect that was the wrong decision, especially given all the good things people say about #PiratesOfDrinax.

I think it's safe to say our #PiratesOfDrinax campaign has gone off-piste. Ended up in the Blood Pits of Blacksand City; attempting to rescue recently-kidnapped Krrsh and various Lower City undesirables from being forced into a fight-to-the-death against alien monstrositys.

None of this is in the book.

Day 3: I don't know if this counts. But The House Without Questions from #MgT2e #PiratesOfDrinax was so intriguing that I turned them into a major faction in our campaign #travellerrpg #ttrpg

picked up my #PiratesOfDrinax #traveller game with @ryebread after an extended xmas break... The rag-tag crew (now including Krrsh the Vargr) just made it to Blacksand City on Theev for the first time.

continued #PiratesOfDrinax tonight. Our crew made it to Borite and faced off against the Charmax, which they managed to toast with an arc welder. Krrsh still panicking on the other side of a compromised door...

There's just too many great #ttrpg games out there and not enough time to play them. I'd like a go with #Mausritter, #VeinsOfTheEarth, #Golgotha, #Troika, and #CY_BORG... and been asked if I'd be interested in running #CurseOfStrahd (I've never touched #DnD5e!)

I'm already running #PiratesOfDrinax and a #WolvesUponTheCoast Upon the Coast/#Starforged mashup, can I squeeze a third in somewhere??

Tomorrow our Travellers begin their long journey from Tobia to Tech-World in pursuit of grade-A cybernetics. Having left the Imperial sector capital with the Imperial navy out for their blood, they travel to a world wholly run by a giant corporate conglomerate, GeDeCo. Their lives are about to get even more complicated. #Traveller #PiratesofDrinax
